Cornish Pasties

My grandmother came form Helston (Cornwall) and taught my mother how to cook pasties.

The pastry was measured with a dinner plate and the ingredients stewed in a pan for hours. Usually lamb or mince, potatoes, carrots, onions + pepper/salt.

Nothing like Greggs pasties. I grew up in Liverpool in the 60s/70s.
