Ingredients

  • Puff Pastry
  • 8 eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 2 table spoons cornflour
  • 200 ml milk
  • 300 ml double cream

 

Method

  1. Separate the whites from the egg.
  2. Mix all ingredients together.
  3. Cover a tart tin with the puff pastry.
  4. Put all the cream in the pan and cook til firm to the touch.

Use the egg whites for something else like a meringue nest or a pavlova.
